Simple Summary: If you ride the entire route to the end, you used to pay 20 THB. Now, if you buy a regular ticket, it will be 42 THB. But if you use a credit/debit card to tap in and out, the system will charge a maximum fare of only 40 THB.
**Additionally, passengers who are children, seniors, and monks still receive a 50% discount as before. Students receive a 10% discount from the normal fare, up to a maximum of 20 THB. However, those holding flat-rate travel cards are not eligible to participate in this scheme. Passengers can remain in the transit system for no more than 120 minutes. If you exceed this time limit, the Red Line will charge the maximum fare of 42 THB.

- Dark Red Line (Bang Sue - Rangsit): To the north, the route will be extended to Thammasat University (Rangsit Campus), passing through Ayutthaya province up to Ban Phachi. To the south, it will extend to Maha Chai, passing through Mae Klong in Samut Songkhram, all the way to Pak Tho in Ratchaburi in the future.
